Our Story

We opened because Donna deserved a better bakery

The Healthy House started with a simple frustration: we loved this community, but the bread was stale, the ingredients were questionable, and "healthy" at the grocery store meant something in a plastic wrapper with a dozen unpronounceable additives.

So we built something different. A place where the sourdough ferments for 48 hours, where the flour is stone-ground, where the produce arrives fresh, and where the people behind the counter actually know your name.

We're not a chain. We're not trying to be. We're just a small team in Donna who believe that what you eat should make you feel good — and that great food doesn't need to come from a factory.
